Background

I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2022 with an MEng in Aerospace Engineering. My master's thesis focused on the investigation of the effect of Inertia Friction Welding on Nickel-superalloy, aeroengine components. This research developed my interest in materials science and metallurgy, and led me to join the Engineering CDT course.

Current Research

I am currently pursuing an EngD at the Advanced Metallic Systems Centre for Doctoral Training. My project focuses on the development of a powder-based manufacturing route for Titanium Aluminide sheet with aeroengine-nacelle applications and is sponsored by Boeing UK.
